Do you like how you look in it?  Then yes!  If you think a fabric or style looks just like you then wear it!  Your clothing is an expression so use it!  If you are in a large group or having a family photo session you may want to consider matching in some respect with either fabric, color, pattern, theme, or hues.  Sometimes just having everyone wear a little something in the same color or two looks great!  The only thing I warn against is wearing something so "in style" that it may look really dated in a few years hanging on your wall.  These are memories but we all have that awful picture we can't stand because of that dated look.

YES! YES! YES!  Not only am I ok with props, I highly encourage it, especially with children!  There is nothing better than being able to capture a few pictures with something you love, do, or enjoy in the picture with you!  Let me know what you'll be bringing along so if I have something to support your idea I will be prepared as well.

Good examples are:  Teddy bears, baby blankets, loveys, rocking chair, toys, musical instruments, sports items, letter jackets, animals, hats, spiritual items, stuffed animals, collectables, hand me downs, ancestors things, military items, uniforms, themed items, holiday decorations, & more!
